Signs you've got bed bugs

  1. Bites in lines or clusters

Itchy bites, often in a line or cluster, on skin that's exposed while you sleep.

  2. Spots on bedding

Small rusty or dark spots on sheets, pillowcases and mattress seams.

  3. The bugs themselves

Flat, oval, brown insects about the size of an apple seed, hiding in mattress seams, headboards and bed frames.

  4. Shed skins and eggs

Pale shed skins and tiny white eggs in seams, joints and cracks near the bed.

Why it's worth acting fast

Bed bugs hide in tiny cracks and can survive for months between meals, so they rarely go away on their own.

DIY sprays and 'bug bombs' often just scatter them into other rooms, making the problem bigger and harder to treat.

How we raid bed bugs

  1. Raid.

Your Raider inspects the bedroom and nearby rooms to see how far they've spread, explains how to prepare, and gives you a free quote.

  2. Remove.

We treat the affected rooms thoroughly. Bed bugs usually need more than one treatment to catch the eggs as they hatch, and we'll include that in your quote.

  3. Relax.

Your treatment is guaranteed. If bed bugs come back after the course of treatment, we'll return and re-treat at no extra cost.

What to do right now

Do

  • Wash bedding and clothes at 60°C and tumble dry on hot
  • Vacuum the bed, frame and floor, then empty the vacuum outside
  • Keep sleeping in your own bed so they don't spread to other rooms

Don't

  • Don't throw out your bed or furniture before we've inspected
  • Don't use DIY 'bug bombs' or foggers
  • Don't move things from the bedroom to other rooms

Usually more than one, so we can catch any eggs that hatch after the first treatment. Your Raider will tell you upfront and include it in your free quote.

Not usually. Most mattresses can be treated. Your Raider will advise you after the inspection, so don't throw anything out before then.

Yes. We know bed bugs can feel embarrassing. Your Raider will be discreet and won't make a fuss.
